Apparently this Sunday I’m going to be apart of a draft for a fantasy football league. For the most part I have no idea what I’m doing but the experience should be fun. Kramer setup the league (rightfully named Worst People Ever) and it seems there are eight “teams” in our “league”.
I’m fairly sure I’m going to get my ass handed to me. I think the most interesting part of the draft is going to see if either me or vanberge draft Jon Kitna.
If anybody wants to be apart of our “league” I guess it shouldn’t be a problem to join just let either me or Kramer know. Yesterday I went to Barnes and Noble and checked out a few magazines for tips and really still don’t know what to expect going into the draft All I learned is that I need to get a good defensive team, draft running backs first, and don’t draft kickers until the final round because they are so unpredictable. Mostly I’m posting here on the hopes of getting some pointers.

Update: Look like Colm Feore has been cast as Cherry’s husband (First Male?) for next season. He was previously seen in ‘The Chronicles of Riddick’ as Lord Marshal. Actually he wasn’t that bad in that movie at least they have casted a male to do something in this show other then Kiefer.
Today I was at work and had some downtime so I decided to check up on the release date for DS game Contra 4. I decided to see if gamespot.com had any information. The last thing I expected was for my requested website to turn into a Sprite commercial. Ugh….
Today I got an email from “DoNotReply@state.gov”. Back on May 16th, 2007 I wrote about the trials and tribulations on getting an United States passport. Finally it seems like I’m going to receive my legal “AOK” from our government to leave the country if I so desire.
The e-mail they sent said I should have it mailed to my address by August 15th. One day to three months after applying for my passport I should obtain it. A lot has happened since that post and ideally I should have put my application months before I did. I do feel a passport is something everybody should have just in case something does come up. Now I just have to find somewhere to go! Does anybody have any suggestions of places I could visit that I would actually require a passport to enter that would be cheap and fun?

In less then two weeks (Saturday, August 18th) vanbergs and myself are going skydiving. Really I’m not that frightened as I should be and I’m sure it should be just amazing. We are going though Premier Skydiving in Freemont.
At this point I’m not sure if I’m going to spring for the video. Part of me thinks I should regardless of price but personally I think they are charging quite a bit for it. On the other hand if I can get a copy of the video and put Disturbed – I’m Alive to myself plummeting to the earth I think it would be worth it.
Regardless this is the best thing going on in my life right now and I’m getting more and more excited daily about free falling strapped to another man. Just like when when I shot guns, and white water rafted skydiving is something I’ve always wanted to try. Next I want to try archery and bungee jumping.
