I noted in my previous 24 post that Jack Bauer has been “tasered” twice this season. Also in past seasons the infamous “taser”" is about the only thing that can really stop Jack. While browsing the web I have found a company that is creating a Anti-Stun Gun Fabric Suit. Now if Jack Bauer had one of these I would have to say absolutely NOTHING could stop him.

I was browsing my favorite Apple Computer news sites and found a news item I totally missed.  Apparently Apple is developing technology to make it possible to run Windows XP on Intel Macs.  This is not the same project as found on OnMac.net. Apple is running a public beta right now and this functionally should find it’s way as a full product in Mac OS X Leopard (10.5?).

Anybody that knows me is aware that on my primary desktop I have 99% fully switched from Windows to OS X. There are still a few applications I require in Windows.  Sadly I really miss PC gaming but that is for another post.  This news pretty much clinches my next laptop purchase is going to be an Apple. Having an Apple created option to run Windows on a MacBook Pro is a huge draw for me. I would really like to retire my clunky old laptop but still have access to Windows XP/Vista if needed.

Also I would feel much safer running a solution like this with software patches and drivers created by Apple then a fan hack.  Also hopefully they will have video drivers so gaming would be possible.  Just a few thoughts for my fans to “chew” on as well to give me a reminder NOT to purchase a new laptop until 10.5 is released.  

Apparently, ever since I upgraded from my ancient install of Bloxsom I had forgotten to put up an archives page. Old posts were still accecible through my search, but that does not help get fully indexed on the search engines.

So, in order to help “expand my horizons”, I have decided to created a fully indexable archive. However, I have not forgotten my loyal readers who will be treated with a nice AJAX style navigation system for looking through the archives.

Today I was reading a story I found on digg about how Bill Gates manages his workload. I found it interesting that he finds a huge worth on having a whiteboard setup in his office. Also on the TV show House the doctors ultilize a whiteboard almost on every show.

At work we have a huge whiteboard setup and it’s pretty much indispensable. 99% of what we do is on the comptuer but the whiteboard will always have a use.

I’m thinking about buying one for my room. Good news is that I have tons of cash. Bad news is I don’t want to spend a lot of it. Also I have no idea where to find a moderatly priced whiteboard.

This post exists as a reminder to myself to do some research. I expect to be flamed to death.

This afternoon I watched about five hours of The Ultimate Fighter. A show adored by vanberge seemed to rub off on myself. Awhile ago I seemed to have totally sworn off on reality television. I’ve stopped watching the The Real World or 99.9% of the trash they show on Fox. I’ve also stopped watching WWE and a whole bunch of TV I used to enjoy. Oddly enough The Ultimate Fighter seems to have brought me back to the darkside at least for a small bit.

To be honest though can you blaim me? The Ultimate Fighter showcases not a single women other then the “ladies” holding up round signs. Also every episode two men beat the crap out of one another. My favorite aspect is that the fights don’t seem to be edited for time. They show all three rounds in their entirety with no replays (until the end) or slowdowns in the action.

Season three starts on Spike TV April 6th. Two true badasses (Ken Shamrock and Tito Ortiz) are going to be coaches for this year I feel I will be tuning in.

Apparently I have been labeled the WPE again.
