Today I logged into gmail today to check my electronic messages and was displayed this message when checking my contacts list….
Apparently it seems my place of employment has blocked the chatenabled.gmail.google.com address thus giving me that error. I guess it makes sence from a business standpoint but it makes me feel like such a criminal!
Apparently my car got “tossed”. This morning before going to class after I opened my car door I noticed somebody “tossed” my car. I must have forgot to lock my door last night and low and behold some jackass went though my car looking for god knows what. I hardly keep anything in my car but there is a lot of information for the taking.
If somebody was smart they could find out quite a bit about me. They have my full name because my work badge was in my car. Also they know where I work. Moreover I keep recepts in the center console. I have bank recepts so it shows my avaiable balance.
Personally I think the criminal was looking for money and expensive trinkets. Thank god I took my briefcase into the house last night. For a few weeks I’m going to start parking in the garage. Also if I see any local scum looking at my car ever again they are going to get the living crap beat out of them.
**The writing post functionally in wordpress sucks. This is the second time I’ve written this post.**
With classes coming to an end and with my work ethic at a all time high I’m thinking about applying for a new position. In May I’ve been working with Spectrum for two years. This maybe a good time for a change in my life so I’m going to start applying for positions within Spectrum first. If it doesn’t work oh well I’ll go down trying.
My resume is up to date but before I start applying for positions I need some help with cover letters. In the past vanberge and R***y have sent me their example cover letters and I’ve used pieces of both. I still think I need a little assistance. If anybody has any examples or knows of any resources (rather then going to google and typing cover letter) please pass them my way. E-mail vanlandw@gmail.com or just post in the comments.

Sorry for the link based posts….deal with it. Huge news on the ‘24′ front. Apparently Kiefer Sutherland has signed on to do three more seasons of my favorite show ever. Also seems he will be elevated from a co-executive producer to executive producer. Thank god Season five won’t bring the real “death” of Jack Bauer. IMHO that would be the dumbest thing ever. GG to Kiefer he’s worth every penny.

Moving on. Last week ‘Prison Break’ did a really stupid ‘three years ago’ type of episode. Personally Prison Break was a nice diversion waiting for my favorite shows to return (in the same category as Lost and a few others). To keep this short last weeks episode was rather crummy. In stead of ranting and raving I’d rather provide a weblink to an article that sums my feelings rather well. Keep in mind it’s spoiler ridden. That article 100% sums how I feel about the current direction of the show. BTW sadly I caught the teaser for tonights episode and it looks much much better.
Right now I should be doing some homework but I decided to post another reminder post to myself. Rather then putting my readers to sleep I could purchase a notebook but this is the best way for me to remember to do something.
While in the GVSU Manitou Comptuer Lab dodging homework and the “labasses” I was chatting with R**s. Apparently he was chatting with me from his local library. He offically has talked me into joining. To be honest it’s been an activity I’ve been meaning to do for the longest time. I have a co-worker who always rents movies from the library and you can apparently get pretty current compact disks now as well. After I’m done with classes for the winter semester I really want to start reading and catching up on things I used to do. Also Goedge is a librarian and I constantly want her to be proud of me….

Today I finally got around to putting the Guitar Hero video footage online. Vanbergs did some good editing on my iMac using iMovie and it turned out fantasticly. There are multiple ways to obtain the video. I’ve uploaded it on YouTube to spare the-bob.org some bandwidth. I also created an iPod Video compatible version as well. This is a must watch for anybody who is a fan of r*********e, .hw, or even myself. The reaction to this video is just taking the internet by storm (make sure to read what Kaobasa said).
