A Radical New Form of Plastic and Rage

The Joys of a Blu-Ray Netflix User

The top six in my DVD queue on Netflix.

Regardless the service is still 100% worth it. According to feedflix.com.

$203.88/year you spend on Netflix

Your cost: $1.64 per DVD | With IW: $0.58

Yeah it’s a downer that new Blu-Ray releases take forever to get to you but with the increase quality of Instant Watch and being able to catch up on content while I wait for the new stuff it doesn’t bother me that much. Also with so much out there this is infinitely cheaper then cable television and attempting to see everything I want in the theater.

Since Flo commented in reader, here is his comment: “go ahead and remove paranormal activity from that list….plus there isn’t any reason to watch that in blu ray anyway.”

I still do not have blu-ray for my netflix account, and I am perfectly cool with that. Generally speaking I have not been at all pleased with the quality for bluray titles so I am perfectly happy with plain old dvd. And, I mostly get television shows, which are not even available in bluray anyway.

Enjoy Gamer, I liked that movie.

    I liked paranormal activity.

It was a scary movie that managed not to have some cheesy ass ending.

    GG all

Paranormal Activity is the only Blu-Ray in my queue now listed as “very long wait”.

I saw bastards though Movie Gallery

Oddly enough I got Saw 6 on blu- ray the first day it came out they sent it to me right away.

    It’s odd

    Gamer
    (Blu-ray)

Arriving on or around: Saturday, Jan 30, 2010

Yeah netflix has been hooking me up recently. There is a delay sometimes on new releases but this week I did very good with Gamer and Saw 6 coming on BR.

I have Gamer on the way and Pandorum waiting for me at home after work.

Update – Still haven’t gotten Paranormal Activity

Public Enemies, Inglourious Basterds, and Moon I rented though Movie Gallery and removed f/ my list.

At this point I have a series of six recently released BR’s all at “Very Long Wait” on my queue and one DVD at Very Long Wait.

Paranormal Activity is still “Very Long Wait” unbelievable.
