I Saw the Devil is one of the best movies ever. Everybody should check it out (Netflix Streaming, GRPL, Amazon).

Ann Romney is Really Bad at Interviews

KWQC TV6: “Here in Iowa, as you know, same-sex marriage is legal. Do you believe a lesbian mother should be allowed to marry her partner?”

Ann Romney: “You know, I’m not going to talk about the specific issues. I’m going to let my husband speak on issues.

Contrast that with Michelle Obama at the DNC – “And he believes that women are more than capable of making our own choices about our bodies and our health care, that’s what my husband stands for.”

→ Shit Apple Fanatics Say, Part 1 (YouTube)

No Viruses, No Viruses, No Viruses, No Viruses, No Viruses, No Viruses, There was one Trojan Horse

There is a part 2 to this but part 1 is the must see. Hearing people at work talk about their Apple shit most of these are absolutely true.

The Wachowskis World beyond “The Matrix”

“My desire for anonymity is rooted in two things,” Andy told me in an e-mail. “An aversion to celebrity (I like walking into a comics shop and nobody knowing who I am) and the fact that there’s something nicely egalitarian about anonymity. You know, equality and shit.”

Rare insight on The Wachowski Siblings. Article is primarily about their new movie “Cloud Atlas” (trailer) but has some recollection on The Matrix movies worth checking out.

L.A. Restaurant Pays Customers to Put Away Their Phones

Eva Restaurant on Beverly Boulevard is offering diners a 5% discount on their bill if they dump their digital devices before being seated, according to radio station KPCC. Owner and chef Mark Gold says it’s a tactic to keep distracted dining to a minimum.

Awesome, if only every restaurant would adopt this.

The World Knows a lot More Than you - You’re Not Listening

The longer you’re a bad listener, the smaller your world gets and the narrower your mind becomes, because you’re not exposing yourself to different ideas and perspective. The better you become at listening, the more of the world you’ll see, and the world knows a lot more than you.

Required reading and required behavior.
