A co-worker of mine mentioned that Spectrum Health and “Health Hill” were profiled in the New York Times Real Estate section. The article seems to mention all the big dogs (DeVos, Van Andel, Meijer) and big companies (Herman Miller, Steelcase, Meijer, Amway, GVSU) and shows Grand Rapids in a positive light. The article addresses the growth of Spectrum Health with the Heart Center and future locations. A good read I recommend. The above picture was taken by Adam Bird for The New York Times.

Best time would have been before these projects got going, when all the prices were bottomed out. In fact, the best time to buy is when times are the worst. My family made a killing right after the stock market recovered after the great depression. Building on the backs of the impoverished, that’s what I always say.
